Ok.. the New Year is finally here... Goodbye 2009...
So in with 2010 and new resolutions....

This year I have 2 resolutions...
1: diet of course...goal 20 pounds
2: 365 photo project...
3: blog more

All Hallows Eve....Zoe

Zoe and her friends Paris and Berilynn.... Berilynn and Zoe were Witches and Paris was a Vampire.... check out the sunset... it was perfect for Halloween

We started the night off with a trunk or treat at the local church... then came home to hit the neighbors....

What a way to start the day

An explosion at the Silver Eagle Refinery caused a large fire, shook nearby houses and knocked out power to the surrounding area Wednesday morning.

WOW... this scraed the S**T out of me.... they said the boom was 5 X a sonoic bomb.... this is not even a mile away from where we live....in fact Zoe and I walked down the street to check it out...after the fire was out... they houses that back up to the refinery are seriously damaged... But thank God... no one was hurt at the refinery or in the homes....

BIG BLOCKS and pumpkins

Tyler... got the BIG BLOCK or the game award... he is a really good BIG TACKLE!! He even sacked the quarter back and striped the ball... (no I didn't know what that meant..and if you don't... it means he took the ball from the other team=fumble)...Way to go Tyler!!! These Rodda boys are so supersticious...Tyler hasn't cut his hair since football started... and well maybe its working... they made the play offs!! Even shut out the best team from last year...19-0!!! Here we are doing pumpkins.... sorry no pic of Ryan he is extremely camera shy....but he did make a pumpkin....

Sorry pictures are not the best... took with my iphone... still haven't replaced my camera yet.... and can't figure out the DH's camera... I think his is beaking too... can you say Chrsitmas presents?? Ok so I am doing a book for my Dear Friend Nanci aka Mr. Nibbles...LOL She has asked me to make two books one boy on girl for twins...coming this fall.... so here are a few that I started on... will have more later....TTFM Cheryl Rodda

Zoe and her friends partying with the mouse... Chuck E Cheese....These are off my phone... need to download the other pictures...Zoe had a GREAT time.... and she really enjoyed playing with her friends at Chuck E Cheese.... below is all of them at the end of the party on the truck ride... not sure how we got all 5 of them in there... it only holds 2...LOL

Christina and I had a Skee Ball Tournament... my high score was 330...sure wish I got a picture of that one... and Christina improved her score with each new game... she is so AWESOME!! I think her high score was 290 or something close to that... she made the 50 hole more then I did.... that is for sure.... and the 100 a couple of times... I was sure jealous!!

Sara also had fun at Chuck E Cheese... her boyfriend Nate came too.... they are such BIG KIDS...

they had this really cool machine that took your picture and then made a drawing out of it...for one token... we all had fun with that one...wish my scanner was working.

Well off to clean my house today... so I can scrap tomorrow... I am working on baby books for twins...a boy and a girl... for Nanci....need to finish by November...will post pics soon of this project...

Zoe is 5 today...

Zoe's Big Bithday today.... She is 5!!! She wanted a Ariel mermaid costume with a tail... so that is what she got...

I can't believe my little baby is 5!! It is going by way to fast... she is getting such a personality though... she is really growing up...

Last day of summer at The Bubble

So the last day of summer we went to South Davis Rec Center to "The Bubble" Why its called the bubble I have no idea... there is a big pirate ship in the middle of the kiddie pool...see pics below... this is a great place to go though... and Zoe loves playing in the water! Isn't her bathing suit appropriate for the theme.... no not on purpose either.

Sara was there too with us... but camera shy that day.... hope she won't be shy for the first day of school photo... stay tuned....

Utah sunsets and Discovery Gateway

I have to say... Utah sunsets have got to be the prettiest in the world that I have ever seen!


We went to the Discovery Gateway in downtown SLC yesterday... it was such fun... Zoe has lots of little friends here in Utah... We all went as a group...and the kids just got to run and play...
They have 2 floors of everything for kids to touch and play with... there is even a maganet wall...
This is the construction area...

Would you believe they even have a helicopter on their roof... Even Sara got into the fun...
