Mini books...

I have been working on mini books.... Here is one using Stella Rose.
I will post more pictures of this little ditty later... as well as another I have been working on.

Wow time flys

Here we are again... another Monday and no pictures to show as of yet.... Hopefully by the end of the week...I've been busy with baseball and trying to organize our small little place...my Mom is coming for a visit YEAH!! 
I did manage to scrap last week though... I made a mini book for a LSS for her to display.
I printed Easter hunt pictures for Zoe's little book she did... I will post pictures... its really cute... she made is at another LSS they had it as a kids project.
I also started another little mini book out of a card that my dear friend Nanci sent me and scraps... I'm really liking the way it turned out as well... and will post pictures soon.

Wordless Monday..or is it picture-less Monday?... LOL
So have you ever felt yourself just wanting to create?  Do nothing but create?  Work with your hands...get messy..that can either be playing in the dirt or making a mess in your scrap room...Well that how I feel lately... but haven't been able to do anything.... My scrap area is torn apart right now.... I am organizing it... and boy does it need it... I am trying to create a more organized space....ok you can pick yourself up off the floor and stop laughing now...  My next project is my parents 50th anniversary trip back east... I have "I think" everything now to make her book.... and then I have a little summer mini album that I want to put together.... oh and I really need to take some pictures... and print pictures...(like of the last 2 years...)  I have a lot to do... and its baseball season again... then Football season... then what???  Oh yeah Basketball.... and lets not forget the ice skating lessons and the gymnastics... and yes, she too wants to play Basketball.... we are going to be a busy busy house!!  I better get my organizing done NOW!!!   I will be back with something to show you all soon.

Our new family member

Meet Lexie.... she is an almost 5 year old Jack Russell Terrier... and a sweetheart.... the kids just love her! We adopted her through a rescue here in SLC...www.Caws.org.  She was in the pound (due to be put down) until CAWS rescued her.  Her foster family was great to her... her foster dad is even a dog trainer... so needless to say she is very well behaved, and has a lot of energy! (not a barker either)   I am hoping this will motivate my family more to be outside walking not just for her but for them as well.  I know I am going to take advantage of it!!  Zoe and I walk her in the afternoons for about 30-45 mins with a stop at the park...Oh sorry both parks really.. there are 2 on our street... and on our walk route...  Tyler got up this morning and went on a run with her... not sure how far... but he said is was energizing!  YEAH!!  And I made Rex go last night with Lexie and Tyler for an evening walk.  Here is a few of Zoe and Lexie at the park...

What I'm working on

Here are a few thing I have been working on... the top is a spring mini book that I just started... and the other two is a mini book that I am making for my dear friend Nanci...on her weekend to Lady Gaga in L.A.

I will be back with more picture of the spring mini and hopefully a layout or two...

Went to Scrapbook expo yesterday with my friend Charity... got some cool stuff!  Can't wait to use it...
