Other then scrapping

Ok... so other then scrapping, I have been checking out some cute blogs...blogs that are not scrappy at all!  They are women who put together the cutest outfits and post them on their blogs.  Since I am in such need of a style revamp... I am just sucking all these lovely blogs up...
I am not as brave as them to take my picture and post my outfits yet... but lets just say it has inspired me to go through my closet and look at it differently!  In fact this past year I have even found a new love in thrifting... I even got the cutest sweaters and skirt last night....and I am trying to put together outfits for under $40.00 per outfit... usually its less then that though...and yes there is even a blog where she posts her thrifty finds and a picture of her wearing them... go here to Wrinkle Dollar and check he out.  Wish I could go shop with her!

Scrap-lifted this weekend

So I saw the cutest layout looking through an older issue of CK (July 2010)

So I decided to scrap-lift it.  I really like the way it turned out... sorry about the picture... it looks a lot greener then it is... it really is brown with blue dots and blue green paper and green lettering... I used my (new) camera phone at night with out the flash...Just to let you know how I made this lift my own... is by changing the colors of the layout... different sized photos then the original LO, different paper boarders and flowers etc....

Simple Layout

Here is a simple layout I did with extra Valentine decor and scraps that I had...
I am taking an online FREE course at Big Picture about Embarrassing the Imperfections... so this is a layout for that class as well.
I think I need a black flower under the pink one... what do you think???

A Layout

I recently went home to CA for my older daughters birthday.... and when I came home I challenged myself to do a simple layout with all the pictures (jumbo wallet size) and with stuff I had on hand of her Dinner at Claim Jumper....This is what I came up with...well I had help from a 6 year old who is loving scrapbooking.
I am also trying to make little challenges for myself weekly... so I will be back with more soon!  Need to go make Valentine goodies....
