A few layouts

OK...its been a long time since I posted and posted any layouts... this are just some simple layouts I did... since I have moved to Utah... I have scrapbook stuff in storage... in boxes... and on the bedroom floor... so its back to basics for a while... but at least I am getting something done.

Rex and I hit Calico Ghost Town on day on the way back from CA... and he tried on all these cowboy hats that were too small... then he found on that was just way to big...

My Redneck Wedding....

WELL WE DID IT!!! July 3, 2009 I became Mrs. Rex Rodda. Our Ceremony was is Tuscombia, Alabama... At the most beautiful court house.

I know you can't tell in the picture....but I'm sewn into my dress.... my zipper broke...what a mess... I was more then 45 minutes late to my own wedding..... luckily my friend Jessica was there to the rescue on that one...

Also the hair dresser oh man... we got lost getting there...then she took her time.... Sara and Nanci's dress were clear across town in Nanci's hotel room.... Sara had to get dressed in the car...

Rex forgot his belt and had to wear his friends, which was was to big for him.... but all in all it was a nice wedding and small reception after. I got to meet a lot of nice friend and relatives.

And Sara and Nanci looked great even if I didn't....I didn't even look in a mirror before I left for the court house.... so I had no idea what I looked like....and forgot to take my make=up with me for touch ups....

Do now we are back in Utah, married, unpacking, going back to work and adjusting. So all and all LIFE IS GOOD!!

Alabama or Bust

Alabama Or Bust....
This is downtown Tuscumbia Alabama... I can't wait to get there and walk down these streets...Looks like a scene from a movie doesn't it???
SO...here we go all 6 of us..... we fly out tomorrow.....
AND: Friday is our big Wedding day!!
I will try to keep you posted from the road...
If not I will have lots of good pics when I get back....

SLC, Utah

Here I am in beautiful SLC, Utah wishing it was the last time I had to travel between California and Utah... but no...my journey is not over yet. I have a custody court hearing on June 16th that will determine whether my little Zoe can move out of the state or not...

This is got to be one of the hardest ordeals I've ever had to deal with...

I sure could see her loving to run through this fountain at the Gateway though....

There is a fountian similar to this at the district... wasn't aware of if at the time... needless to say she was DRENCHED...and I had to buy her all new clothes to wear...WOW...

There is also a Discovery Gateway hands on Childrens Museum at the Gateway.... and I am sure she is going to love spending time there as well... and I will be enjoying the air conditioning...HAHA

Well until I get back to CA and to scrapping

Took this class with Candice Carpenter

Got to say I loved this class... I have been wanting to take a class from Candice Carpenter for some time now...She is just the nicest person ever.... and a wonderful teacher....

I am going to use this little mini book to put pictures from my wedding in it.... I can't wait...
I am also going to make a few for some of the others that are involved in our wedding as thank yous.

Yes that is right... I am engaged to be married to the man of my dreams....
This is why I haven't been scrapping to much lately... but I will have tons of stuff to be scrappin now!!!
