I did this layout (scraplifted it) for Scrapbook Clearance Outlet with My Minds Eye products Kraft Funday “Bright Days” I thought the layout was just to darn cute and I thought Zoe's picture was just perfect for it.

Zoe like this layout so much she wants me to make the same layout for her book..so I am..same line but in a different color... I will post it when I get it done.

I also made another "clip it up"... this one was also for the store... Dora and I were asked to host a store at local retreat (Red Rooster Barn) and we used it to house stickers on there... and now it is at the store for sale ($30.00)... It actually holds more then a clip it up and is half the price of just the lower portion of the actual clip it up... mine you get a top and bottom for $20-30 depending on the size. Check it out:

Here are some pictures of the retreat... not the best pictures.. but hey at least I remembered to take a couple.

I made this sign (found at thrift store for $1.50)...I pained just the middle portion with chalk board pain...it was already this blue color.

I don't know if you can see in these pictures, but I used vintage suit cases to hold items.. as well as enamel ware and cake platters. (which all sold)

These pictures where while we were setting up... we had a lot of fun!

I also made this for the store... and might do a class as well on it..we will see if enough people sign up.

How cute would this wreath be with a flower and a picture of to the side (of the middle portion).

Something new I have been trying

So if you read my blog you know that I made a version of the clip it up for a friend...and now I have two more that I am painting and working on.

I have also been making these little dessert trays:

I am really enjoying the hunt of finding little plates and candle sticks or candy dishes to make these... I have 3 more made besides these. I will post those after I get pictures... these three are a perfect size for yummie chocolates or a couple of cupcakes or brownies...(which is what I had in the platter with the dome until yesterday). Two of the others that I made are smaller and are perfect for See's candies...and one is bigger, big enough for a cake...that one I painted the steam pink... can't wait to show you all. I am hoping to start selling these... my first attempt will be at the Red Rooster Barn Scrapbook Retreat at the end of the month.

And this year I am going to play along!
My word for 2012 is

ORGANIZE

And boy do I need it!
So not only is this a word, but a resolution as well.
First thing first....
I am working on my little scrapbook corner....
It has been such a unorganized mess for too long now!
My goal with this is to organize things to where I can find them
and get the work done I need to do... I have so much to catch up on.
After that I am going to tackle one home improvement item
each month starting in February. Wish me luck... I am handy, but never have
done home improvements before! (I might just need to find me a handy man at times)

Today is my daughter Zoe's 7th Birthday...This kid I tell you is such a joy! Of course there are time when she is annoying...like when she sings at the top of her lungs walking down the street....or when she is killing the dog with attention....but she is so full of life...energy.....and guts! Well most of the time guts...she thinks nothing of diving off the high dive... but wouldn't learn to ride her bike...she was afraid of falling...ah..hello??? I think she got that one backwards.... but all in all SHE CAN RIDE A BIKE NOW!

I chose Orange and Cream... like a 50/50 bar... (did I just date myself?)
So here is it... I did it..(well except one page has a little green...orange is hard to find.)

Here we are again... another Monday and no pictures to show as of yet.... Hopefully by the end of the week...I've been busy with baseball and trying to organize our small little place...my Mom is coming for a visit YEAH!!
I did manage to scrap last week though... I made a mini book for a LSS for her to display.
I printed Easter hunt pictures for Zoe's little book she did... I will post pictures... its really cute... she made is at another LSS they had it as a kids project.
I also started another little mini book out of a card that my dear friend Nanci sent me and scraps... I'm really liking the way it turned out as well... and will post pictures soon.

Wordless Monday..or is it picture-less Monday?... LOL
So have you ever felt yourself just wanting to create? Do nothing but create? Work with your hands...get messy..that can either be playing in the dirt or making a mess in your scrap room...Well that how I feel lately... but haven't been able to do anything.... My scrap area is torn apart right now.... I am organizing it... and boy does it need it... I am trying to create a more organized space....ok you can pick yourself up off the floor and stop laughing now... My next project is my parents 50th anniversary trip back east... I have "I think" everything now to make her book.... and then I have a little summer mini album that I want to put together.... oh and I really need to take some pictures... and print pictures...(like of the last 2 years...) I have a lot to do... and its baseball season again... then Football season... then what??? Oh yeah Basketball.... and lets not forget the ice skating lessons and the gymnastics... and yes, she too wants to play Basketball.... we are going to be a busy busy house!! I better get my organizing done NOW!!! I will be back with something to show you all soon.

Our new family member

Meet Lexie.... she is an almost 5 year old Jack Russell Terrier... and a sweetheart.... the kids just love her! We adopted her through a rescue here in SLC...www.Caws.org. She was in the pound (due to be put down) until CAWS rescued her. Her foster family was great to her... her foster dad is even a dog trainer... so needless to say she is very well behaved, and has a lot of energy! (not a barker either) I am hoping this will motivate my family more to be outside walking not just for her but for them as well. I know I am going to take advantage of it!! Zoe and I walk her in the afternoons for about 30-45 mins with a stop at the park...Oh sorry both parks really.. there are 2 on our street... and on our walk route... Tyler got up this morning and went on a run with her... not sure how far... but he said is was energizing! YEAH!! And I made Rex go last night with Lexie and Tyler for an evening walk. Here is a few of Zoe and Lexie at the park...

weekend layout done....

This is a layout I did over the weekend of Zoe... this was her first day of Kindergarten, we walked home together.... and she insisted on taking these branches home... she wanted me to carry them....ah...no... I told her if she wanted them, she had to get them home... so she dragged them all home... (and yes I am glad she did, we used them in October for our Halloween decor.)

I just thought her dragging these home was just so cute.... glad a I got pictures!

Ok... so other then scrapping, I have been checking out some cute blogs...blogs that are not scrappy at all! They are women who put together the cutest outfits and post them on their blogs. Since I am in such need of a style revamp... I am just sucking all these lovely blogs up...
I am not as brave as them to take my picture and post my outfits yet... but lets just say it has inspired me to go through my closet and look at it differently! In fact this past year I have even found a new love in thrifting... I even got the cutest sweaters and skirt last night....and I am trying to put together outfits for under $40.00 per outfit... usually its less then that though...and yes there is even a blog where she posts her thrifty finds and a picture of her wearing them... go here to Wrinkle Dollar and check he out. Wish I could go shop with her!

Scrap-lifted this weekend

So I saw the cutest layout looking through an older issue of CK (July 2010)

So I decided to scrap-lift it. I really like the way it turned out... sorry about the picture... it looks a lot greener then it is... it really is brown with blue dots and blue green paper and green lettering... I used my (new) camera phone at night with out the flash...Just to let you know how I made this lift my own... is by changing the colors of the layout... different sized photos then the original LO, different paper boarders and flowers etc....

I recently went home to CA for my older daughters birthday.... and when I came home I challenged myself to do a simple layout with all the pictures (jumbo wallet size) and with stuff I had on hand of her Dinner at Claim Jumper....This is what I came up with...well I had help from a 6 year old who is loving scrapbooking.
I am also trying to make little challenges for myself weekly... so I will be back with more soon! Need to go make Valentine goodies....

Found this great blog of Laura Bray! She has the most amazing advent calendar! I am for sure doing this next year.

For starters she found an advent house and re-did it to suit her.... then instead of candy... she put strips of paper in the days... for example... watch a classic holiday movie or go see Santa... or make a ginger bread house.

She also has these cute little bits of paper on her blog where you can download them.
Go check out her blog... I know its a bit late this year... but you can do the last 5 days...

I know I am for sure doing this next year... I even have an advent house calendar that Rex and Tyler found that needs a little fixin' up...

Halloween Recap

Here is a recap of our Halloween...
Zoe was a fairy... she looked so cute
Tyler was Domo.. and was a hit!! All the little girls were "OH LOOK ITS DOMO!" People were even taking pictures of him... some little kids thought he was a chocolate bar.. which was cute... and some said he was a fudge-cycle... that was funny!!

We went to Bountiful Main Street - for treats in the streets..
Then we went up the hill to a near by neighborhood for some trick or treating...and it was on the cold side but not bad at all... but it started POURING!! Then it was cold...
We went home and ate some chili and cornbread and waiting for the rain to stop.
Once the rain stop Zoe went out again but with her dad and Tyler, Rex and I went around our neighborhood... WEIRD!!! The rain must of ran everyone off... we had 6 tricker treaters at our door and no one was answering their doors.... it was really spooky and odd....no one was out... it was like a scene from a horror film.... So we went back home and Zoe came home, and watched Blindside as a family...

All and all I would have to say it was a great night!

Zoe's first day

KINDERGARTEN...........WOW!!! My baby is growing up way to fast!
Here are a couple of pictures... she started August 23rd...for one hour, then they had assessment testing during the week...we went on Thursday for about 30 mins... then she started her "real" kindergarten this week...(these photos are from 8/23/2010) these pics are from my phone... she was so excited to go to her new school and on her first real day she came home just excited and said "it was AWESOME!" words I like to hear! She has a really nice teacher... and can't wait for Zoe to be learning all sorts of new things.... I signed up to volunteer in her class as well... so we will see what they have me doing.... and of course I signed up for room mom...crazy me!!! I don't have pictures of the boys... but they are going to new schools as well. Tyler seems to like his school more and more everyday... and Ryan..I'm not sure yet.. his high school is a math and science high school and he says the work is hard... so we will see....but I know he can do it... he is such a smart kid! We're back from California

Well here I am with a few of my good friends Helen and Nanci.... I am already missing California... and wishing I had gotten a chance to see a few more people and a more pictures as well... I can kick myself in the butt for not getting a picture of Camille and I....

Anyways...Here is an overview of our two weeks in California:

Our adventure started out with a week of Little League baseball tournaments in Elk Grove CA... my son's team won the Utah State Champion Tournament and the Elk Grove tournament was the next step to the little league world championships.... unfortunately we came in 4th... but not bad for a group of 10 year old boys! I am really proud of Tyler!

From there we visiting my Grandma in Chico and spent a day with her...also say my Uncle Daniel, and my Aunt Michelle and Uncle Doug as well... I was a really nice visit..just not long enough...

Then we took of to San Fransisco...I have not been there since I was like 3 months old... so that doesn't count for being there in my book... so on the way there we stopped at the Jelly Belly Factory and took a tour... stopped in Berkley to see my Cousin Kerri and got to meet her long time boyfriend... then off to Castro Valley to see another Aunt and Uncle - Margaret and Ron... they were so kind to open there home to use and give us shelter for two nights. Which gave us the chance to spend a day at the wharf and pier 39. San Fran was crowded... so we didn't get to see much else... so I have made a list for when we go back. And before we left we got to see Kerri and Ric...again which was nice.... at a great little breakfast place in Berkeley.

After that we took the long way down the coast to the OC to see my parents and friends... then to get Zoe... and then back to Utah... wow what a long trip. Did I mention we drove over 3200 miles???

Rex and I are happily married for 1 whole year now....Can you believe it?

We had a laid back Fourth of July... since we had a few sick people that weekend.... but even through being sick we did fireworks... and had a good time... Zoe was so excited to do fireworks!!! And I was smart to do a pot roast in the crock pot... no cooking!!! YEAH!

anyways heres an update....

Sara is in California now and is getting signed up for SCC... she wanted to move back to be with her friends and I miss her very much!

Ryan is going to summer school and taking BIO Chem classes...

Tyler is playing all-stars (baseball) and is in the first seat for the state playoffs....

And Zoe is enjoying preschool!

My friends Lola and Hy were just passing through Utah on their way home and we got dinner with them and really enjoyed seeing them... I really miss all my friends in California...

So Sara and I went to see Letter to Juliet on Sunday...... and yes I am a hopeless ROMANTIC!! This move was so cute... Loving Verona... and wanting to go to Italy more then ever now!! The scenary is just awesome.... Charlie... is just so annoying you love him....I highly recommend this movie!!! But remember this is 100% CHICK FLICK!!!

And well the boys went to... but the saw McGouver... they loved it... said it was really funny!!!

Feeling good

So here I am at work... just thinking how great yesterday was... not sure why..just a feeling...

I have a wonderful family that I love very much!! And I'm thankful for my recent "temp" job at the Uof U... I am really liking it...

I am also thankful...that in the bad economy...I have plenty of scrap supplies...LOL and I am actually using them... I made 4.5 mini books within the past week... I will take pics and post...
One of the mini's was the Teresa Collins Mr& Mrs kit... love it!! I have it all ready now for my wedding photos..once I print them out....HAHAHA And I made 2 spring books using her system... turned out really cute... used the dear lizzy paper in those... love that line!! So I said I made 2 right... we one was for me... and once was for a dear friend... I also made another mini book and a half... these two are very similar to each other... I was making it for a friends b-day...when Zoe came along and loved it so much she wanted one just like it... but she wanted to make it... be still my heart!! Oh I should of grapped the camera... darn... it was so cute her glueing paper to chipboard... and punching and pasting and inking.... we didn't quite finish before she went off the CA to visit... so we will have to finish when she gets back... its in bright bold colrs of red, yellow, blue etc... will be perfect for summer photos... Have lots of that paper left... so I think I will have Zoe make one for her little friend in CA that she misses so much and send it as a surprise...:)

ok...my week so far

Ok... so my week so far...well my mother-in-law and sister-in-law are in town from Alabama...so this is the perfect week for my to do my project...
Monday: Work at the University...take the trax and frontrunner to the Woods Cross station then walk to our house from there....this is the first time I had to walk from the station....wow my legs hurt that night....did some visiting with Tina and Faye...and when Rex came home we went to dinner at Chuck-a-Rama (a buffet)... then home again...

Tuesday: Work at the University...take trax and frontrunner to woods cross station...then walked home... this time it was a little easier...but the weather was hotter too...augh...got home...visited again....then Rex came and got us to go to Tyler's baseball game...Tyler even pitched... and did a great job!! We were all proud!! Went home and everyone went to bed... long day... that is for sure...

Wednesday: Rex dropped me off at the University...and had his mom and sister with him... they are off to Wendover without me...insert sad face.... So for me its work for now...

That is my week so far... I have pictures... and will edit post after I download them.

Day Three

Ok... so day 3 of of University of Utah "temp" position... so far its been good... Im tired though... waking up early early early.... getting ready... getting everything ready....getting to work on time... Sara to school on time... and today I took the Trax to work... its actually nice.... didn't think I would like it...
Well short but sweet for now... here is another picture of the University for you... it is such a HUGE campus... I am really getting my walks in now...

New beginnings....

Ok... so here I go... I applied to be a temp at the University of Utah until I find a permenant position here in my new state of Utah... this is a huge campus... and a little confussing to find your way around... especially with the construction going on as well....But I am sure I will be able to find my way around in no time... Also I have been working on a mini book for Tyler... about the BCS Championship game... ROLL TIDE!! I got it all done... and he really seems to enjoy it..I will take pictures and post... I have really been neglecting the whole scrapbook and picture thing... and I need to get back on track!

Well I think thats it for now... I have to go to deliver a car with the hubby today after Tylers baseball game... yes I will take pictures...

Sight seeing Utah

OK... well we started our day off with visiting with my Aunt Judi and my Cousin Kerri.... there were in Park City for Sundance... Rex and I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with them at The Eating Establishment... From there Rex went to work and us girls did some sight seeing in Downtown SLC...

At first we drove from Park City to The Heritage place... sorry no pics...we didn't stop...then we drove through the University and the avenues...the mansions are amazing.... then we stopped at The Cathedral of the Madeline....WOW!!! It was built in 1909 and is just amazing! I wish I could of captured the colors in there....and just how amazingly beautiful it is... I will play with some pics in photo shop and post later. From there we went to the Capital of Utah... no I hadn't been yet... its such a beautiful building and would like to expolore it further...but we were running out of time... since Judi and Kerri had a plane to catch back to California...

But what an amazing morning... and I got to spend it with some really special people! Can't wait for them to come again!

My baby is 18 Today

My Baby Sara is 18 today.... I love this picture of her... she is such a beautiful girl..(and yes she took the snake bites out...YEAH!!!) We are planning on going to dinner at PH Changs... one of her favs... we did a cake a presents last night since the boys were here... She got a docking station for her iphone that has an alarm clock/charger and speakers for listening to her crazy music she loves...

What a way to start the day

An explosion at the Silver Eagle Refinery caused a large fire, shook nearby houses and knocked out power to the surrounding area Wednesday morning.

WOW... this scraed the S**T out of me.... they said the boom was 5 X a sonoic bomb.... this is not even a mile away from where we live....in fact Zoe and I walked down the street to check it out...after the fire was out... they houses that back up to the refinery are seriously damaged... But thank God... no one was hurt at the refinery or in the homes....

BIG BLOCKS and pumpkins

Tyler... got the BIG BLOCK or the game award... he is a really good BIG TACKLE!! He even sacked the quarter back and striped the ball... (no I didn't know what that meant..and if you don't... it means he took the ball from the other team=fumble)...Way to go Tyler!!! These Rodda boys are so supersticious...Tyler hasn't cut his hair since football started... and well maybe its working... they made the play offs!! Even shut out the best team from last year...19-0!!! Here we are doing pumpkins.... sorry no pic of Ryan he is extremely camera shy....but he did make a pumpkin....

Christina and I had a Skee Ball Tournament... my high score was 330...sure wish I got a picture of that one... and Christina improved her score with each new game... she is so AWESOME!! I think her high score was 290 or something close to that... she made the 50 hole more then I did.... that is for sure.... and the 100 a couple of times... I was sure jealous!!

Sara also had fun at Chuck E Cheese... her boyfriend Nate came too.... they are such BIG KIDS...

they had this really cool machine that took your picture and then made a drawing out of it...for one token... we all had fun with that one...wish my scanner was working.

Well off to clean my house today... so I can scrap tomorrow... I am working on baby books for twins...a boy and a girl... for Nanci....need to finish by November...will post pics soon of this project...

Last day of summer at The Bubble

So the last day of summer we went to South Davis Rec Center to "The Bubble" Why its called the bubble I have no idea... there is a big pirate ship in the middle of the kiddie pool...see pics below... this is a great place to go though... and Zoe loves playing in the water! Isn't her bathing suit appropriate for the theme.... no not on purpose either.

Utah sunsets and Discovery Gateway

I have to say... Utah sunsets have got to be the prettiest in the world that I have ever seen!

We went to the Discovery Gateway in downtown SLC yesterday... it was such fun... Zoe has lots of little friends here in Utah... We all went as a group...and the kids just got to run and play...
They have 2 floors of everything for kids to touch and play with... there is even a maganet wall...
This is the construction area...

Would you believe they even have a helicopter on their roof... Even Sara got into the fun...

A few layouts

OK...its been a long time since I posted and posted any layouts... this are just some simple layouts I did... since I have moved to Utah... I have scrapbook stuff in storage... in boxes... and on the bedroom floor... so its back to basics for a while... but at least I am getting something done.

My Redneck Wedding....

WELL WE DID IT!!! July 3, 2009 I became Mrs. Rex Rodda. Our Ceremony was is Tuscombia, Alabama... At the most beautiful court house.

I know you can't tell in the picture....but I'm sewn into my dress.... my zipper broke...what a mess... I was more then 45 minutes late to my own wedding..... luckily my friend Jessica was there to the rescue on that one...

Also the hair dresser oh man... we got lost getting there...then she took her time.... Sara and Nanci's dress were clear across town in Nanci's hotel room.... Sara had to get dressed in the car...

Rex forgot his belt and had to wear his friends, which was was to big for him.... but all in all it was a nice wedding and small reception after. I got to meet a lot of nice friend and relatives.

And Sara and Nanci looked great even if I didn't....I didn't even look in a mirror before I left for the court house.... so I had no idea what I looked like....and forgot to take my make=up with me for touch ups....

Do now we are back in Utah, married, unpacking, going back to work and adjusting. So all and all LIFE IS GOOD!!

This is downtown Tuscumbia Alabama... I can't wait to get there and walk down these streets...Looks like a scene from a movie doesn't it???
SO...here we go all 6 of us..... we fly out tomorrow.....

SLC, Utah

Here I am in beautiful SLC, Utah wishing it was the last time I had to travel between California and Utah... but no...my journey is not over yet. I have a custody court hearing on June 16th that will determine whether my little Zoe can move out of the state or not...

This is got to be one of the hardest ordeals I've ever had to deal with...

I sure could see her loving to run through this fountain at the Gateway though....

There is a fountian similar to this at the district... wasn't aware of if at the time... needless to say she was DRENCHED...and I had to buy her all new clothes to wear...WOW...

There is also a Discovery Gateway hands on Childrens Museum at the Gateway.... and I am sure she is going to love spending time there as well... and I will be enjoying the air conditioning...HAHA

Well until I get back to CA and to scrapping

I know I have been a bad blogger lately.... I have done some scrapping though and great classes taught by great people... I will have to share...
My life has taken a turn...and for the better... this is me at the Utah Jazz game this past weekend... WOW what fun!!! I have never been to a professional basketball game before! I am hoping to get back to some basics real soon in my life... I want to live "simple". And I want to be able to scrap and post... so i will try and not be so long inbetween posts....and I will share layout and mini books that I am working on....

The Endless Remodel Job

Can you believe it ...I started this remodel project in October.

1- CLEAR IT ALL OUT
First I had to clear out the room ( Which is a Hall way that leeds from the House to the Laundry Room, that ajoins my Garage Workshop ).

2- ROOM DIVIDERS
And since I was going to put up some Peg Board Wall Partitions ...I decided to paint them first which took and unexpected 255 hours to get done. And the Primer & Paint would take hours to dry ...draging the project out even longer that that !

3- PATCH & SEAL
Then I could patch and seal the exisitng Raw dryboard Walls & Ceiling.

4- PAINT CANS & MATCHING COLORS
Then it was now ready for paint.
Can you believe it ...It took 4 hours to pry the lids off of 5 old paint cans ...from painting my workshop 5 years ago. All of this work just becasue I couldn't find the paint swatches from before. To my Luck ...I discovered that 1 of the cans still had enough paint ... but the other color we would need to get mixed. Of course the instant match machine was broken, and the paint company had changed colors since we had it mixed last ....so I had to settle for another color.
Which turned out to be more yellow than I liked. But would just have to do !

5- WALLS & WALL PAPER
The walls are 2 colors with a midway wall paper border ...to match my workshop.

6- THE UGLY SPOT
I impressed myself with how cute I made the Water Heater Stand look. I wrapped a 2nd wall paper border around it ...and it came out just way too cute !

There also was this Ugly Post infront of the water heater that had been plastered and painted ...but was badly chipping. I had to scrape everything off of it. And decided to leave it bare ...as it would look better than it did with the paint falling off !

7- TILE FLOORS
Once I finished the Paint & Paper then I could put in the floor ...( this was so I didn't get any paint splatters on it ! ).

The hard spot was cutting out a hole from the center of a tile to wrap it around a pole by the water heater. ...And I did an awesome job ! And then to cut the right arc around the water softner !

8- SECTION OFF THE ROOM
Once the room was ready I could put up my peg board pannels to section it off... so that one half was the Laundry Room and Excercise Room.
Note the lei's are to keep us focused on why we are working out ...and to remember to make it FUN ! ( ...I still need to add a TV to this room ).

9- THE STAMP ROOM
The second half of this Room has become My NEW Rubber Stamp Storage Nook. And it is now packed floor to ceiling with racks of Rubber Stamps. ( It took a whole week just to move it all in and get it organized ).
...Who would even knew ...I made such beautiful walls ...that can't be seen !
But there is still a pretty spot still when you walk in ...and of course the laundry room looks pretty too !

10- THE AFTERMATH
Well now that I am 95 % Done with my Remodel Job ...It has made a disaster out of my Workshop Space. There are big gaps with bins on the floor that used to be held up by my Rubber Stamp Storage Drawers ...and holes under the tables that had my wire paper racks on top ...that made a lot more sense when there where stamp drawers underneath them ?

So I am going to have to redesign my workshop space ...to adjust for these gaps in my room plan. But then ...since I have to redesign ...i might as well do a top job at it ...and intiate some big changes that I have had on the back burner.

So it looks like my work is still not done !

And also ...It looks like a Bomb went off in my workshop anyway !
...After 3 Months of pileing things up in there ...to get them out of the way while I remodel the other room. ...I can no longer see the surface of my workshop tables ...And the piles are growing up to the ceiling !
YIKES ! - Something has to be done !

So I went out today and bought more materials to get started on the 2nd half
...and I am just now starting to feel a cold coming on
...I hope I can kick it quickly ? ...And get back to work !
I am going crazy without a place to scrap ...and access to my supplies.

The best part is... that what I am planning to do should give us some extra Space in the crop room for Get Together Fun !

PINK Pineapple and and Michelle Hill

Who made this mess???? Me at the Pink Pineapple at the Michelle Hill Polka Dot Whimsy Crop.... My Pile = MESS!!! I did 4 mini books at this crop...and 2 were mine..HAHAHA

My other pile of goodies.... I make 2 Christmas books...one in traditional colors and the other in Pinks, blues, and greens...Have a few finishing touches on these books then I will share them.

The other 2 I made... was one for Denise who was at the crop...her 40th is coming up and I made a cute little book for her for that... and the last one was for Lola....

This girl is awesome: Here is Michelle Hill....Our host... we got some great valentines goodies from her!!

Miss Lola...working away on her "mammoth book"...no really....pictures are from her Mammoth trip last year....I am sure she will share when she gets it done...

Im back and I found my dream house

Yes that is right... I found it...to bad it's not mine...LOL
I am back from Utah.... and I have lots to scrap now....Can't wait to scrap the snow angel or the attempt to snowboard pictures.....I will be back with layout... and possible a mini book....so hold on tight.... its a comin...

By the way... I am going to a FREE Michelle Hill crop at the Pink Pineapple in Vista CA on Saturday.... and to Debby Schuh's class on the 24th of January...so I should get a few things done!!!

I hope everyone had a GREAT Christmas....
Mine was awesome!!! Except I lost the camera and about 2000 pictures....
Still hoping to find the camera some where....
But I am off and running to Utah for a vacation to play in the snow...
With my back up cameras.... so I will have lots of photos to scrap when I get back...
I will need to crop for sure!!!

The Parade Starts at 5PM in front of Villa Park High School. The Parade runs through town ...and stops at the Villa Park Town Square. ( Where I will have my Booth ).

Gingerbread HB-Day Wall Hanging - Lola Marie

Okay so you haven't heard from me in a while. I have been busy with a home remodeling project. That has been taking up all of my spare time. With the damp weather it is taking 4 hours for just one coat of paint to dry !!!! ...And because of this ...the whole thing is taking 4 x's as much time as I had planned for it !

But I did take the time to make this Birthday Wall Hanging - Card.
We took photos of making a Gingerbread House for Kiley's Teacher.
And I made this BD Card from the Photos ...that doubles as a Wall Hanging.
It was super simple to make ...but it looks great ...and the Teacher just LOVED IT !

I took an oversized Card and folded it in half ...to create the accordion shape.

Punched a Hole in the top and strung a ribbon through it.
...Which tied the card closed ...and became the string to hang it from.

What a FUN Card Project it was !
